He was born in the City of Manila, Philippines. He was a consistent honor student, class President, and school representative in academic competitions. A recipient of the Gerry Roxas Leadership Award.
He entered law school after finishing his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Santo Tomas in 1990. He enrolled in the Five (5) year program for working students in the Faculty of Civil Law of the same university. Four and half years later, he finished his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Santo Tomas.
He worked as an Associate Lawyer, and later on as a Junior Partner, in a well-established law firm. He handled the legal concerns and cases of the top Philippine corporations in the telecommunication, banking, insurance, maritime, manufacturing, and food industry. He also served as legal counsel of government officials and showbiz personalities. At the age of 29, he had the privilege of representing a President of the Republic of the Philippines in a case that he filed against the publisher, editors, and writer of a well-known newspaper. At the age of 30, he established his own law office.
He is currently holding the positions of Member of the Board of Directors, Corporate Secretary, and Legal Counsel of various domestic corporations in the real estate, power and energy, sugar, construction and interior design, manufacturing, retail and trade, travel, and gaming industry. He is also the agent and lawyer in the Philippines of various foreign corporations based in the United States of America, United Kingdom, Germany, Israel, Singapore, and China, that are involved in hotel and resort management, energy generation, pharmaceuticals, fashion and publication, and manufacturing of heavy equipment and machinery.

She graduated from the De La Salle University with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce degree major in Accounting in December 1991. She received her Bachelor of Laws degree in 1999. She is taking up her Masters of Business Administration from the De La Salle University.
She worked with the Department of Labor and Employment from 1997 up to 2001. She acted as resource person representing the Bureau of Women and Young Workers in trainings and conferences regarding the law on Sexual Harassment, Job Discrimination, Child Labor and Maternity Legislations as requested by various Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), labor unions and private corporations. She represented the said Bureau in public hearings, meetings and deliberations before Congress (both Lower House and Senate) and DOLE-Technical Committee on Legislative Matters; and in conferences and trainings sponsored by various government organizations, NGOs and international organizations.
Before joining the Law Office, she worked with the Commission on Women (NCRFW) under the Office of the President of the Republic of the Philippines from 2001 to 2002 where she further honed her knowledge and skills on policy making.
She is a Consultant, Corporate Secretary and member of the Board of Directors of various corporations in the interior design, real estate, travel, nutrition and retail industry.
